Complete Cat Care

A typical cat health care problem is the common ol' hairball. You have probably seen how a cat's tongue is rough, and usually pulls on your skin a bit when a cat licks you. Cats' tongues hold that very same traction when it comes to other items like hair and string. Cats ingest hair, which becomes all gooped up in their digestive system. This can lead to various kinds of problems, for example constipation, straining at bowel movements, dry coughs, and vomiting. Two things will assist you to solve or prevent this problem: regular brushing and grooming to get rid of loose hair that could easily finish up ingested, and Laxatone. I recently became aware of Tomlyn Laxatone and would like to tell you a little about it. Some times you will see this product referred to as Evsco Laxatone as well.

What Is Laxatone?

Cat Laxatone is a laxative and intestinal lubricant combination designed to fight the dreaded hairball. Ok, of course they won't be dreaded if resolved, but that's why you get the Laxatone, isn't it? Laxatone comes in tubes (2.5oz and 4.25 oz.) and can be either malt or tuna flavored. Laxatone tuna flavor is probably your best bet. Since Laxatone is medicinal, cats may prefer not to take it despite the flavor, just to be stubborn, but the recommendation is to put a dab on their noses to stimulate taste interest. Cat Laxatone also contains supplemental iron for your cat's good health. It may come out strangely, but I have discovered that Laxatone for cats is without a doubt the simplest thing for many cats.

How Do I Use Laxatone?

Use Laxatone for cats in between meal times and do not mix it with food or it will reduce the effectiveness. The recommended Laxatone dosage for existing hairballs is ½ to 1 teaspoon a day for 2 to 3 days. For hairball prevention, a ¼ to ½ teaspoon dose two to three times a week will prevent recurrence. Try the Laxatone tuna flavor for felines who are picky about what they eat. There is also a Laxatone catnip flavor variant, as well.

You can put the Laxatone on your cat's paw, and they will lick it off in the natural course of cleaning themselves, even if they don't like it. It also works to apply the Laxatone to the roof of their mouths. I have kept this simple but that covers the important parts of Laxatone hairball remedy. To be sure, it is clear, but worth emphasizing. Laxatone should be part of your cat health care arsenal.

Laxatone for Dogs

While cats suffer from hairball issues, dogs can be afflicted with a similar issue of constipation. You can use Cat Laxatone for dogs in exactly the same manner you would for your cats; identical caveats and tips apply. The dosage recommendation for Tomlyn Laxatone for dogs is ½ to 1 teaspoon two to three times a week.

Laxatone hairball remedy is a great new find. Laxatone is a sure fire winner. If your cat has a hairball problem, now you can end it with cat Laxatone. Laxatone cats are happy cats, and so will you be.
