Cat training tips, the best techniques...
Whether your are trying to teach your cat a trick or you're teaching your cat discipline, be consistent with your training. The earlier you train you cat, the more accepting they will be to your message. The kitten stage is a great time ...
This is a pretty good article that I ran across out on the web. Most people don't realize that cats are, in fact, trainable. It isn't near as easy as for dogs, who by nature are some pretty willing slaves, but it can be done. Not saying all cats will take to it nor like it, mind you, don't get me wrong.
We have a cat that just loves to play fetch. Toss her a mouse or a bouncy ball, and she takes off. Now, sometimes this can turn out to be a distraction, as when she hops up on the bed in the middle of the night and drops a toy on my chest, it isn't always welcome, but I try to toss it a few times before giving up because she's so precious.
Another cat of ours, before he became fat and too lazy, used to be a big fan of chasing. I'd run after him for a while, and then when we found a dead end, we'd switch roles and he'd chase me throughout a few rooms. Ah, good times...I need to get that boy on an exercise program. And his daddy, too, I suppose. ![]()
